Good news, Alan Wake fans! The game’s two DLC episodes, The Signal and The Writer are now available on the Xbox Store for free.

The two episodes can be download on the for free on the Xbox 360. The episodes can also be played on the Xbox One thanks the availability of backwards compatibility.  Having these two episodes available for free is great for fans who have yet to enjoy them, especially since Remedy Entertainment recently gave Alan Wake away for free with pre-orders of Quantum Break.

Fans of the series also have a very good reason to rejoice as when creative director of Remedy Entertainment, Sam Lake, was asked if we would ever see a sequel to Alan Wake, he responded with a short, but powerful “yes”. Now fans just have to hold out for more information on what exactly that sequel will contain.

Alan Wake is available for the Xbox 360, PC, and Xbox One through backwards compatibility.
