According to former NeoGAF poster shinobi602 Ubisoft are planning to debut two separate demos of Assassin’s Creed Unity at E3 2014. The first of the two demos will focus primarily on the game’s single player campaign while the second will showcase a brand new, four-player co-op mode which is rumored to include its own unique storyline. Ubisoft has of course refused to comment providing the obligatory, “Ubisoft does not comment on rumor or speculation,” but according to The Escapist the leak has been verified as coming from a legitimate, “Ubisoft source.” This will mark the first time in franchise history that Assassin’s Creed has included a four-player narrative driven co-op experience.

Assassin’s Creed Unity was officially revealed by Ubisoft late last month after images of the game were leaked online 48 hours before. So far we know that the game is set during the French Revolution and is coming to PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC’s―the game is currently scheduled for release, “Holiday 2014.”
