Hello, and welcome to our new feature called “The Most Epic News of the Day”. This is a new segment where we talk about the most epic news that happened throughout the day. We know you’re busy and don’t have much time for news, which is why we’re making it easier for you by picking out the most epic pieces of news throughout the day.

While there wasn’t much in the way of news Sunday night, there was a bunch of great stuff this morning, including an upcoming Nintendo Direct, a new Pokemon announced, the Flash dishing out some injustice, an MMO going free to play this week, and some free and paid content for Nioh.

1. Nintendo Is Doing A Direct This Week

Splatoon-2

Nintendo will be hosting a Direct this Wednesday, at 3 PM Pacific Time. The focus will be on the two newest games for the Switch, Splatoon 2 and ARMS. Additionally, there will be more info about some upcoming Nintendo 3DS games as well.

This will be the first Direct since the Switch was released, so be sure to check it out. You can watch it on Nintendo’s site or on their YouTube page.

2. The Flash Is The Focus Of This New Injustice 2 Trailer

Injustice 2 got a new trailer this morning, and this time everyone’s favorite Speedster The Flash was the focus. While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen The Flash in action, it’s still great to see him get in on the action.

The trailer shows off some of his moves, where it looks like he’ll be a bit of a rush down character that likes to get in people’s faces (obviously), and we even see his Super move, which I won’t spoil here. Injustice 2 releases on May 16th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

3. The Elder Scrolls Online Is Getting A Free Week

Elder-Scrolls-Online-Morrowind

Starting tomorrow April 11th and lasting until April 18th, the game is free for everyone across all platforms. There will be no restrictions on what players can do, and if you ultimately decided to buy the game, all your progress will be carried over. The free trial goes live tomorrow at 3PM Pacific (10 AM Eastern), so be sure not to miss out.

4. Nioh Is Getting Some Free And Paid DLC

Nioh-3

Tecmo Koei announced today that the new PvP update for Nioh will be coming to the game on May 2nd. Besides that though, the game is also getting bit of paid DLC called Dragon of the North. It’ll hit on the same date for $9.99, and will include new enemies, guardians, levels, and weapons.

You can also buy the Season Pass for $24.99, which besides Dragon of the North, will also get you Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s EndNioh is out now exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

5. Pokemon Sun And Moon Are Getting A New Pokemon

Pokemon Sun and Moon are getting a brand new Pokemon. Ladies and gentleman, I present to you Marshadow. Though there were rumors of it circulating for months, this is the first time we’ve the little guy being officially announced.

“Marshadow cannot be encountered in normal gameplay. Details will be introduced in the future on how Trainers can get this Pokémon for their game,” a message of the official Pokemon website read. Pokemon Sun and Moon are out now for the Nintendo 3DS family of handhelds.
