Emilia Clarke: Game of Thrones Season 6 “Almost Killed” the Cast

Wait what? Literally? As in not just killed off plenty more characters but resulted in the deaths of the actors behind the scenes?

Calm down, notice the “almost” and past tense “killed”. Certainly we can guess that filming a show like Game of Thrones is grueling work, but according to Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Season 6 called on the cast to go above and beyond their previous efforts.

Speaking on the Red Carpet for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Clarke said, “Every year, every single person in the cast is like, “It’s the biggest season ever” but legitimately this season almost killed us. It is epic, like it’s huge…it’s insane…it’s silly.”

Splendid! Can we see a legitimate trailer please? Enough with the scenic teases and posters!

There’s certainly one aspect of the season that’s going to be like nothing that’s come before. All most all the characters have reached uncharted territory in their stories that have not been told in the books yet.
