April Fool’s Day is tomorrow, and Google always does something to celebrate with Google Maps. One year they made Pac-Man playable on Google Maps, and another year they made it so that you could catch Pokemon (which became the basis for Pokemon Go). This year, they’re going back to the house of Pac by making Ms. Pac-Man playable in Google Maps.
You can play the game by hopping onto Google Maps and clicking the bottom left icon, as well as on your phone. Keep in mind that it will spawn you in random locations. On my computer, I spawned in a street where I’d always get trapped by Blinky and Pinky. Meanwhile playing it on my phone spawned in Ghana, Barcelona, and near Wrigley Field in three separate playthroughs, all of which I got stuck and taken out by Blinky and Pinky.
It’s not the full game, but it’s a fun little time waste. I always enjoyed when Google does stuff like this, and this time is no exception.
