Remember Fallout Shelter, that free to play mobile game that let you build your own Vault-Tec Vault? Well, it’s out now of Steam.
Much like the iOS, Android, and Xbox One versions, this game is free to play with microtransactions, which are used to buy lunchboxes that have items, in-game currency, and even new Vault Dwellers. There isn’t anything exclusive for the Steam version outside of Steam Achievements, but you do get every major update and addition for the game since it’s release back in 2015. Has it really been that long?
In any case, you can try out the game now on your PC if you feel so inclined. Since it’s original release in 2015, Fallout Shelter has gone on to be a big money maker for publisher Bethesda, and it was the first mobile game that Bethesda themselves have made, so to have on more platforms is of course a huge plus for Bethesda.
Fallout Shelter is out now for the Xbox One, iOS and Android devices, and now the PC.
