Ubisoft has released a pretty sweet trailer for a pretty sweet announcement. It was just discovered that Rainbow Six: Siege will be hosting a closed alpha, and players will have the opportunity to sign up. While it hasn’t exactly been revealed as far as when the alpha will begin and end, it has been revealed that this alpha test is only for those on PC.

In addition, those residing in North America and Europe will be the only ones able to participate in this event. So if this seems like something you might wanna do, make sure to register as soon as possible. If you’re keen on participating, then you’ll need to create yourself a Uplay account. If you already have one, then you’re ahead of the game.

Make sure to your PC meets the requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, x64
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core
  • CPU Speed: 3.3 GHz (Recommended), 2.6 GHz (Minimum)
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 / R9 280 X
  • VRAM: 2 GB

“These specs are the ones required for Alpha testing and are not the final PC specs,” Ubisoft explained. “We are still working on optimizing the game and the launch specs will be lower than the Alpha specs.”

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Are you guys going to sign up for the closed alpha, and whoop some butt? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
