Swamp Thing Joins The Injustice 2 Roster

He’s been wanted by the fans for awhile, but now it’s official. Swamp Thing is the newest fighter to join the Injustice 2 roster.

The news comes from a new trailer courtesy of IGN, which you can check out below. Though he looks like a hulking behemoth, and even has some of Solomon Grundy’s moves from the last game, Swamp Thing also has a little bit of Mortal Kombat’s Noob Saibot going on by creating copies of himself, which he can use to attack people and get up close to his opponents, as well as a vine attack, which lets him grab people from a distance. We even see his special, which he uses on Damian Wayne’s Robin, and he even gets his own stage, which is set in, where else, a swamp.

I’m personally not big on characters like Swamp Thing in fighting games, but after seeing this trailer, I can see myself using him when the game releases alongside my boy Batman. Injustice 2 releases on May 16th of this year for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
