Injustice 2’s Latest Trailer Is Once Again All About Brainiac

Warner Bros. Interactive released a new trailer for Injustice 2, and once again it stars Brainiac. That may seem excessive since we already got a trailer starring the megalomaniac, but he is the villain of the game, so it does make sense for him to have yet another trailer.

“Brainiac is a megalomaniacal genius who roams the universe, collecting knowledge to increase his intellectual and scientific prowess,” the publisher wrote. “Obsessed with establishing his superiority, Brainiac captured Krypton’s greatest cities, then eradicated what remained…or so he thought. Tales of the ‘Last Son of Krypton’ have reached far into the stars. Now, the Collector of Worlds comes to Earth to finish his accumulation of Krypton — and discovers a new world worthy of his collection.”

This trailer’s a follow up to last week’s story trailer, which showed how destructive Brainiac could be, and how both Batman and Superman will have to put aside their differences if they want to save the world. Injustice 2 is out on May 16th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
