Injustice 2’s First DLC Characters Revealed
We already knew that Injustice 2 would be getting some more DLC characters, but we didn’t know who would be coming. Well, that changed early this morning, when developer NetherRealm Studios showed off the first three characters who will be coming to the game post launch.
Fighter Pack DLC 1 will include three characters: Starfire, who looks a bit more grown up than previous versions, former Robin turned vigilante Red Hood, and from Mortal Kombat, the master of ice himself Sub Zero. While we don’t know what their play styles are, it’s safe to assume that Red Hood will use a combination of his guns and hand to hand style to fight, Starfire will use her energy blasts, and Sub-Zero will freeze things, as ninjas who have mastery over ice are wont to do.
You can check out the reveal trailer for the trio below. What’s interesting about that trailer though is that toward the end, six silhouettes of other DLC fighters. Two of them are pretty easy to figure out (Black Manta on the left, and Mortal Kombat’s Raiden on the right), but the other four remain a mystery for now. Injustice 2 releases on May 16th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
