Check Out Sonic Forces’ Newest Trailer

A new trailer was released for Sonic Forces. This time, the focus is on some 2D gameplay from Classic Sonic.

The new trailer, which you can check out below, doesn’t reveal much in terms of story, but it does show off Green Hill Zone from the first Sonic the Hedgehog. This time though, while the area starts off the same, fans may notice something isn’t right, as it would appear that the once lush grass and beautiful waters are now nothing but sand. Why is that, and what does it have to do with game’s overall plot? Only time will tell.

Sonic Forces is set to release sometime this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Likewise, Sonic Mania, a game which is more of a 2D throwback to the classic Genesis games, is also set to release this year for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. 3D or 2D, it looks like Sega has something for Sonic fans this year.
