Rick, Daryl and a few other members of the gang were last seen being held hostage in a Terminus train cart. Rick has been teased peering out of the same cart, and ready to plot revenge when they get out of the enclosed space. The Walking Dead season 4 left many cliffhangers and, if you don’t want spoilers, turn back now!
Robert Kirkman called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) to chat about Outcast, his new comic. But, at some point, he had to spill some more beans about The Walking Dead. We can clue in that those in Terminus are cannibals. Kirkman said, “There’s a lot going on with Terminus. In our premiere episode of season 5 we’re going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, what’s going on with them. And by the end of that episode you’re going to have a much better understanding of what’s going on with them and why they’re so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies.”
This can’t be! Let’s hope he is in fact kidding. Kirkman went on and talked about how he is still writing the Walking Dead comic and sees no end to it. He hopes that the popular zombie thriller on AMC will continue into a season 10 or 12, perhaps season 15. We never know, but Kirkman also understands how unrealistic it would be to shoot that high for a TV series to run that long. The current long term goal, “I’m just hoping and praying we make it to season 7.”
