The trailer for the newest of Link’s adventures, The Legend of Zelda: a Link Between Worlds reveals plenty of new information surrounding the story and the game play, including the introduction of a new villainess to the Zelda universe. The evil (and apparently artistic?) sorceress torments Hyrule with her ability to turn people into two dimensional paintings, though much to her dismay Link masters the power himself and learns how to use it against her. He uses his newfound power to make strategic movements and solve puzzles while batting his way through dungeons in Hyrule, as well as a new world, Lorule (Hyrule, Lorule, get it? Oh boy.)
Another benefit to Link’s new power is that it allows him to travel between the worlds, much like you can in the SNES title The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The trailer has a familiar fanfare to look out for, as well as a menacing shadowy surprise at the end (who could that be?) so be sure to check it out below! The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be out for the Nintendo 3DS on November 22!
