Last week, we reported on a new high-resolution texture pack coming to the PC version of Fallout 4. Well, that texture pack is out now, though there are a couple of things to keep in mind before you download it.
For starters, the texture pack requires 58 GB of space to load up properly. Yes, you read that right: 58 GB to have a high resolution texture pack. And that’s not the only system requirement either:
- Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
- Intel Core i7-5820K or better
- GTX 1080 8GB
- 8GB+ RAM
Yeah, Bethesda isn’t messing around. However, if you meet this admittedly high requirements, you’ll be rewarded with a really pretty looking Wasteland, as shown in these Steam screenshots. The pack is free to download, so if you think your PC can handle it, go for it. Fallout 4 is out now for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A PlayStation 4 Pro update is also in the works for the game, so be sure to keep an eye out for that as well.
