Bethesda has announced a free update that will improve visuals for PlayStation 4 Pro and PC players for Fallout 4. While Fallout 4 is far from an ugly game, fans won’t complain about a nicer looking wasteland to explore.

Patch 1.19 is set to arrive on PlayStation 4 Pro next week. The update tweaks both the lighting and textures to support 1440p native resolution, improved draw distances, and enhanced Godray effects.

For PC players, this High Resolution Texture Pack requires an extra 58GB of space. While it does require a lot of space, this free update will certainly help make the Wasteland look better than ever before.

Here are the specs needed for the High Resolution Texture Pack on PC:

Recommended PC Specs
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i7-5820K or better
GTX 1080 8GB
8GB+ Ram

If for whatever reason fans decide they need to return back to the original textures, the High Resolution textures can be disabled from the game’s launcher menu.
