Super Mario Maker is the gift that keeps on giving, as Nintendo has revealed that a new costume is being added to the game. The character this time is Super Mario Bros. character Toadette, donning the outfit she wore in the charming Wii U platform puzzle game Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
The announcement comes from a trailer released on Nintendo’s official Japanese YouTube channel, which you can check out below. The new costume will be available this week, and can be unlocked by clearing a special course made by Nintendo, which real talk here, seem to be getting a little bit more challenging as time comes on. Certainly not as hair pulling frustrating as some of the user created levels, but it can be very easy to fall off a platform or get hit by an enemy if you aren’t careful in these levels.
In any case, I’m certainly happy that Nintendo is constantly updating Super Mario Maker with new content, and I for one can’t wait to unlock this costume. Super Mario Maker is available now exclusively for the Wii U.
