New Dark Souls III Trailer Makes Even Chalk Drawings Look Forboding

A new trailer was released to promote Dark Souls III, and shows that even in as a chalk drawing, Dark Souls III is certainly an atmospheric game. You can check out the trailer below.

Even though this new trailer doesn’t show any new areas or gameplay, the video, which comes courtesy of the official From Software YouTube channel, shows a nice chalk drawing done by Japanese artist Rena Rena. The drawing was created as part of a special event that took place on March 10th, and took several hours to complete (though the video has been sped up a bit). Chalkboard drawings like this tend to be a trend in Japan among school children, and often take several weeks to complete, due to homework and other such activities, though hopefully none of them draw images from a game like Dark Souls.

Dark Souls III is set to release on March 24th, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
