Grand Theft Auto Online Gets Tron Inspired Bikes
Rockstar has released a new update for Grand Theft Auto Online that introduces a new adversary mode inspired by Tron. The new Adversary Mode, Deadline, has players trying to destroy their competition by getting them to run into their trail of light.
“Deadline pits up to four players against another, each mounted on a different colored Shotaro, which emits a temporary light trail as you ride through the arena,” the developer explains. “Any competitor unfortunate enough to come in contact with said trail meets an instant explosion. Make calculated movements to force opponents to cross your trail’s path and take advantage of strategic power-ups for a competitive edge; use Boost to speed ahead and cut off your opponents, slow down time with Zoned for precision movement, or leap your opponent’s light trail with Hop.”
Along with the new mode, this update also includes the Nagasaki Shotaro light bike. This bike is “packed with enough energy to power the Los Santos grid and sporting the looks of an auto show concept vehicle.” Players can purchase the Shotaro from Legendary Motorsports after playing a round of the new Deadline mode. Purchasing the bike will also unlock a free Nagasaki Logo Tee.
Lastly, players can earn some extra rewards and enjoy some items that are on sale. Players can also earn double GTA$ and RP in Deadline, and get 25% off Business supplies and resupplies.
