Supernatural’s ninth season ended a few months ago with a shocking twist: Dean has now become a demon, with a lot of tampering from Crowley. It ended on that note, with fans guessing wildly about what is going to happen next. Naturally, most of the main cast appeared at SDCC this past week (that is, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Mark Sheppard). A lot of the cast and crew answered rabid fan questions about what to expect for the show’s 10th season. Surprisingly enough, we even got some teaser footage of season 10, at least the people at Comic-Con did.
It showed Sam and Dean arguing (shocker) about Dean’s ‘demon blood’ running within him, culminating in a fight between them, but not showing more. From the looks of things, the writers are going to tackle the brothers’ growing questions about who the true monster is, and what that will mean for them in the long run. Fans also questioned Kevin Tran’s actor about whether he would be returning, but they didn’t say. One of the episodes in Season 10 is going to mark the 200th episode for the show, and they stated that this episode will be in a musical-format, a sort of love letter to the fans. Supernatural will return on Tuesday, October 7th with the season premiere, but not before an hour-long retrospective on October 6th.
