SDCC 2014: Directors of Captain America Reprise Roles for Agent Carter

It was revealed today at SDCC that the Captain America directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be taking on Agent Carter by directing episode two and episode three of the series. The perfect pair to do so too as they have directed the first two Captain America movies. Both of them are also well versed on Agent Carter character, and Hayley Atwell who played the character in both Captain America films.

It was also revealed that the Agent Carter is an eight episode series will be aired during the break of Marvels Agents of SHIELD this fall will. It will certainly be a heavy fall and winter season this year for Marvel fans. Whether the Carter series will be tied to the Agents of SHIELD story in unknown, but due to the lack of Marvel movies being released to help push the narrative of Agents of SHIELD, we could potentially be seeing a tie in between the two, but who knows? There is some time until Agents of SHIELD begins and then takes its break, so we should begin investigating.
