Silver Centurion & Shotgun Armor Unveiled Through “Iron Man 3” Facebook App

Over the past few months, we have learned more and more about what’s coming in the next “Iron Man” movie, “Iron Man 3.” Between the trailers, TV spots, and leaks we know a decent amount of info on the upcoming movie, but we have learned a nice little piece of info recently due to a Facebook App.

The “Iron Man 3: Armor Unlock”  app allows users to send in backup to help out Tony Stark in his battle with the villain, Mandarin. You earn the backup; you must answer movie trivia questions which will reward you with Stark’s arsenal of Hall of Armor suits.

The regions with the most winners today received a special reward that is only visible to Facebook users living in or around that region. One of the rewards was a picture of a suit called Hyper Velocity Suit (Mark 40) or also known as the Shotgun. This was unlocked for the Canada region. Another region, California received a different picture through Facebook. This picture was of a suit called Enhanced Energy Suit (Mark 33), which is known as the Silver Centurion to the comic book fans.

There are also a few more teasers for future armor unlocks, which are believed to give a look at the Hulkbuster/ Brute (Mark 38) and as well as the Mark 17 with some modifications to the head and shoulders that resemble a concept called the Heartbreaker concept.

With all of these armors expected to debut in “Iron Man 3” we can expect great action and one heck of a movie! “Iron Man 3” releases May 3, 2013.
