Broken Age Releases A New Trailer!

Shortly after news of Double Fine’s new adventure game Broken Age, they’ve went ahead and released a trailer on the official Broken Age website to show everyone just what they are capable of. The trailer shows the main characters, sad, lonely, and ready to break free of the binds that hold them.

For those who haven’t heard about this game yet, Broken Age is a point and click adventure game that tells the tale of a young boy and girl. The girl has been chosen by her village to be a sacrifice to a terrible monster and she decides to fight back. The boy lives a lonely life on a spaceship under the care of a motherly computer but wants to break free and live a life of adventure.

Double Fine is asking their community of fans if they would help create the game without the reliance on traditional publishers. The site offers two directions of chipping in. Beta access gets to play the game while backer access receives private discussion forums, all past and ongoing episodes of 2 Player Productions’ documentary, development materials, and the DRM-free game download for PC, Mac, and Linux.
