“The Expendables 2″ Coming to Blu-Ray/DVD in November

If you weren’t able to catch “The Expendables 2″ on the big screen, no worries. The hit action movie about a gang of aging mercenaries will hit Blu-ray, DVD, digital download and On Demand on November 20. The Blu-ray/DVD will include a nice list of special features, as well as cranked up audio. Check out the complete list of features below.

“The Expendables 2″ features many of the same cast members as the original, and also adds some new faces (and even a female cast member). Simon West replaces Sylvestor Stallone as director but keeps the fun, testosterone-filled, shoot-em-up style of first film. The sequel, which stars a ridiculously long list of 80′s action stars, including Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, crushed the box office, raking in over $289 million dollars worldwide so far.

The Blu-ray will be the first to feature the improved 11.1 channel DTS Neo:X surround sound that includes support for speakers in the front mounted both high and wide to create a more powerful 3D audio effect that can, for example, simulate planes flying overhead or a car driving past.
