Resident Evil 5 ‘Mercenaries Reunion’ Review!
Overview:
Systems: PS3, XBOX 360The original Mercenaries mode, available after completing the main game, was incredibly fun and added tons of replay value to an already re-playable game. Mercenaries Reunion is no exception, providing the same enemy wave-killing experience but adding more playable characters and weapon loadouts to play with.

Mercenaries Reunion is no exception, providing the same enemy wave-killing experience but adding more playable characters and weapon loadouts to play with.
Gameplay:
Similar to the original Mercenaries mode your objective is to defeat as many enemies and survive for the entire time limit. Killing many opponents in a combo chain increases your score, and there are time extensions spread throughout each level. What has changed is the variety of characters available to play, each with their own weapon kits. Not only are all of the character costumes included, but some new faces appear such as S.T.A.R.S. members Rebecca Chambers and Barry Burton. As an additional plus this game mode is available immediately after purchase, where Mercenaries mode unlocks after completing the main story.
Graphics & Sound:
Nothing has changed graphically, but the superb visuals of Resident evil 5 are still displayed in all their glory. The sound effects and music remain the same from the default Mercenaries mode, with the addition of the new weapons and voices of the new characters.
Verdict:
If you enjoyed the Mercenaries mode, this piece of DLC is a must for you. Not only does it expand upon the already available characters, it also adds new faces to the game. Each character also has a different inventory, opening many different styles of survival between them. Mercenaries reunion is a fantastic addition to the already addicting Mercenaries mode.
