For a while now, PC gamers have been wondering when Dark Souls 2 would be releasing to PC. We finally now have an official release date, thanks to the official Dark Souls 2 Facebook page. Namco Bandai revealed that the PC release will be April 25th. And yes, don’t worry, April 25th of this year.

Meanwhile, the console versions will be releasing next Friday, on the 14th of this month. To prepare for the PC release, the Dark Souls 2 product page on Steam is now up.

According to Namco Bandai, the PC version will have an option for increased frame-rate, as well as higher texture resolution. Some of you might want to wait for the PC release, but it’s understandable if you have the option but can’t wait. The excitement is certainly high for Dark Souls 2. Either way, all versions of the game will be released by the time April is over, so it’s going to be a busy time for Dark Souls fans. If you’re going more for a console release, it’ll be on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next Friday.
