Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation DLC Announced with Preview Trailer
Fans of Call of Duty: Ghosts will now have an even larger variety of maps to choose from as a new trailer showcasing the game’s newest DLC, Devastation, has just been released. Devastation is set to bring us four new maps, ranging from small to medium-sized: Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed. Some of you might recognized the Unearthed map, as it is a re-creation of popular Modern Warfare 3 map, Dome.
Along with the maps, new weapons will be brought. The Devastation map exclusively brings a new weapon, called the Ripper, which is a tactical 2-in-1 weapon in which you can quickly switch from an SMG to and assault rifle. While us non-season pass holders will not be able to receive this epic weapon until the release of this map pack, those of us who do have the season pass on Xbox 360 and Xbox One will find that the Ripper is currently available for download.
The new DLC also brings a new chapter in the alien-battling Extinction mode. Episode 2: Mayday allows players to “board an abandoned research vessel, in search of answers. Players will face two new alien foes – Seeders, and the 100ft tall Kraken. New weapon mods and paths to explore come packed in this exciting chapter.”
Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation DLC will hit Xbox Live before Playstation consoles and PC on April 3rd, with a release date on other consoles to follow. Check out the trailer below!
