Daenerys’ Gruesome Heart-Eating Scene Gets Incredible Cosplay

Those who are avid fans and watchers of Game of Thrones know how greatly the series’ white-haired beauty, Daenerys Targaryen, transformed.  She was once a weak young girl who let her brother torment her, being practically sold as a slave by him in order for him to reclaim glory for himself.  However, Daenerys quickly changes in the first season of Game of Thrones, turning from a downtrodden, seemingly pathetic girl to a strong woman who is not a slave but a leader who advocates for the freedom of those who are enslaved.

Looking through Daenerys’ past, you can see that there is one moment that was the catalyst in Daenerys’ transformation, and that is the scene in which she is forced to eat a horse’s heart as part of a Dothraki pregnancy ceremony.  At first seemingly disgusted, she gets through the gruesome task in an almost animalistic fashion, proving her strength not only to herself but to the Dothraki people to whom she has been dubbed Khaleesi.

While we have seen quite a fair share of Daenerys cosplays over the past few years, it is rare that we get to see a re-creation of Daenerys’ heart-eating scene.  However, cosplayer Mia Moore took on the gory task and did so perfectly.  With the help of photographer Aperture Ashley, the pair created some incredible images that any fan of Game of Thrones is sure to praise.  We are blown away by this cosplay and can’t wait to see what else this creative cosplayer has up her sleeves!
