In the upcoming season 4 of Once Upon a Time, Elsa is coming to Storybrooke! While we are still in the dark about what is coming in the special Disney turned live-action episode, there was a brief peek at Elsa and Anna of Arendelle at San Diego Comic-Con. Show creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were joined by several cast members, Josh Dallas, Jennifer Morrison, Colin O’Donoghue, Jared Gilmore, Lana Parrilla, Emilie de Ravin and Robert Carlyle.
There was a clip at the panel of Elsa played by Georgina Haig and Anna, played by Eliabeth Lail in Arendelle planting flowers at their parents’ graves. Even the costuming closely resembles that of the Disney animated film. Fans of the show can guess that the girls’ mother will not be a part of the show and Elsa has a surprise for Anna! It’s the big wedding she’d always dreamed of, so perhaps we will see the Anna and Kristoff nuptials.
There are also more surprises to come, and the news is just getting started. One of the new developments could be Rumplestiltskin and Henry’s newfound relationship. Horowitz and Kitsis commented on it. “Neal will always live in flashbacks and in our heart.” Horowitz followed up by saying, “Death may be a terrible thing, but it doesn’t mean it’s the last time we see someone.” Oh goodness! Time to get in on the action!
