SDCC 2014: First Look at Warcraft Unveiled

Director Duncan Jones came to Comic Con with a gift for the fans today. This surprise comes in the form of a first look at Warcraft. Even though the movie doesn’t come out until 2016, it’s impressive that Jones was able to attend and bring some impressive looking footage just to hype those MMO gamers up just a little. Jones stated that Warcraft will chronicle how Azeroth falls into conflict between Orcs and the humans, more specifically, the horde and the alliance. A good premise for the story but hopefully it will keep the magic of the games going to the big screen.

The main character is going to be portrayed by Travis Fimmel (Vikings), his character will new all about guarding his family and the king. His dominating Orc counterpart, which has yet not been disclosed to who is playing him will focus on being a father and whether he is up to the task. The two characters are said to be more a like than they are different. Will these two unlikely foes come together or will they fight to the death for their respectable sides?
