Microsoft has always wanted cross-platform play between their consoles and the PC (Killer Instinct will have cross-platform player with Windows 10 and Xbox One). A new development is something bigger though: Microsoft noted that they are considering expanding cross-platform play to "other console and PC networks."

Now that Sony has shown off the PlayStation Pro, all eyes are now on Microsoft to see what their new Scorpio console can do.
