The Xbox has never had a very strong following in Japan, with the Xbox One reaching abysmal sales numbers following its release, and the original console not even breaking a million units. With Microsoft passing by the recent Tokyo Game Show, many fans figured Microsoft had given up on the Japanese market, which is largely controlled by Nintendo and Sony. But that would apparently be presumptuous, as Microsoft has recently held a press conference in the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo in order to announce their strategy for breaking into the Japanese market, as reported by DualShockers.
