Final Fantasy XIV Removes 14-Day Limit From Free Trial

Square Enix has announced that the 14-day limit for the trial of Final Fantasy XIV has been removed. Starting today, players can now access all content in the game up to level 35, including the first 10 levels of the Deep Dungeon and all activities in the Gold Saucer, such as Chocobo Racing. If you have already used up the 14 day limit, then you can now come back and test out everything you may have missed.

“Perhaps you played the free trial three years ago and didn’t have the time to try out everything you wanted, well now’s the time to return,” Square Enix’s Daniela Wnuk said. “Polish your skills in the Hall of the Novice and learn how all of the different roles work. Take your time, sit on the pier admiring the sunset at Costa del Sol whilst leveling up your fisher. Got an ache for new shiny weapons? Try out blacksmithing! If you want to truly test your skills, you could face the hardest battle on the free trial and overcome Titan, the Lord of Crags, himself!”

With Final Fantasy XIV’s next expansion due out in June, now is a great time to take part in the free trial. There is plenty of activities to try out and get a good feel for the game.
