SDCC 2014: See Norman Reedus in Trailer for Robert Kirkman’s New Film ‘Air’
Saturday afternoon Skybound Entertainment unveiled both a trailer and poster from an all new movie titled “Air”. From what the trailer reveals, Air is a post-apocalyptic film about two custodial workers (Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou) who are tasked with caring after the last few fragments of human life, of which have been cryogenically frozen after a devastating nuclear war. Michael Hogans’ character, presumably the president given the official speech at the beginning of the trailer, reassures what is left of humanity that their way of life will be protected from “global tyranny”.
It also seems as though there is an epidemic involving, you guessed it, air. More specifically a lack thereof, which is frightening in itself, on top of that try dealing with it on a barren uninhabitable planet.
Director Robert Kirkman is no newcomer to apocalyptic realities, being the creator of The Walking Dead, so what we can foresee is a bleak future. Air is currently filming. There is no announced release date as of yet.
