Spider-Gwen is an ongoing comic book series published by Marvel that began only a few months ago, in February of 2015. The series revolves around the Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, an alt Earth that debuted in Edge of the Spider-Verse #2 as part of the 2014 - 2015 Spider-Man event called Spider-Verse. Spider-Gwen picks up where Spider-Verse left off, and explores a universe where Gwen Stacy was the one bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, thus forcing her into the role of Spider-Woman of her world.

Using her new found set of criminal skills, she sadly lost her chance for revenge but discovered a life of crime.

Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, is a getting-her-act-together former burglar and former girlfriend of Spider-Man. Felicia's character is one with a painful history of loss and abuse - so I am always pleased to see a cosplayer put on the mantle and become Black Cat: her 'final form' of inner and outer strength.
