Star Wars Episode VII Original Cast

“Star Wars: Episode VII” Has Signed Original Cast Members

We have heard news that many of the original cast members will be returning for “Star Wars: Episode VII”, but the entire cast?

Today in “Star Wars” news, we are a step closer to the answers that many of us are anxiously awaiting. We have a definitive answer from the man, George Lucas himself. The lastest update comes in the form of a few choice words from Lucas in an article in Bloomberg Business Week, “How Disney Bought Lucasfilm – and its Plan for Star Wars”.

“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison—or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation. So I called them to say, ‘Look, this is what’s going on.’ Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them. I won’t say whether the negotiations were successful or not.”

Sounds like George spilled the beans and, coming from Lucas himself, the confirmation is more credible that Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford will be in the film. Fisher’s reps, however, are still covering their rears with the denial that Fisher is on board even though Fisher did recently comment on how Princess Leia’s return might play out.

Remember the news of Disney buying the rights to “Star Wars” which entitles them to create shows, movies and merchandising as they wish? In other news, ABC wants to create a television show based on “Star Wars”. The series would certainly be a live action series and undoubtedly popular with many “Star Wars” fans all over the globe.

Anyways, “Star Wars” is pouring out lately and those of you wanting to read a little bit more on the purchase of Lucasfilm can check out this article!  May the force be with you!
