Carrie Fisher has indeed confirmed her return to the big screen as Princess Leia Organa but there is speculation as to what she will look like in the new film. After all, it’s been 30 years since Fisher donned that famous gold bikini.
Palm Beach Illustrated sat down with Fisher and she was able to joke about what the possibilities: “Elderly. She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home [laughs]. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle.” Even though Leia will have matured quite a bit since we last saw her, expect nothing less than another iconic performance from Fisher.
