Mass Effect Andromeda Has A Large Story To Tell

BioWare has stated that Mass Effect Andromeda will not be a new trilogy, but assured fans that there is still plenty to experience. While it is unclear what is next for Mass Effect after this, Mac Waters, creative director for Mass Effect, assured fans that there’s still a lot of story to be delivered.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, Waters mentioned that Andromeda would not start a new trilogy, which got fans a little worried that this would serve as the end of the Mass Effect series. Waters when to twitter to clear up the confusion. When asked if this would be the last Mass Effect game, he responded “Not by a long shot. There are so many stories left to tell…” He then cleared things up further by saying “To be clear. Just because #Andromeda isn’t start of a trilogy, doesn’t mean we haven’t been planning for future adventures. Just not 3 acts.”

While Andromeda won’t be the last game, it may be stand as a stand alone story. While we don’t know what is next for Mass Effect, it sounds like it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Mass Effect Andromeda is set to release spring of 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
