Whispers Of The Old Gods Is The Next Hearthstone Expansion

The next expansion for the popular online collectible card game Hearthstone is was revealed today in a Blizzard live stream. The expansion, Whispers of the Old Gods, is set to live up to its names. It deals with the evil gods of the lore (C’Thun, Yogg-Saron, Y’Shaarj, and N’Zoth).

Whispers of the Old Gods is going to contain 134 new cards and starting March 14, fans of the game will be able to pre-order a 50 pack bundle for $49.99. In the meantime fans can check out some of the cards that are available for browsing and check out the cinematic trailer.

The expansion is set to hit sometime in late April, early May and more information is incoming on March 21, and the standard format system will go with the release. To help promote the expansion, fans that players who log in near the launch window will net three packs for free, and the first pack will always net you a free Beckoner of Evil and C’Thun.

Hearthstone is available to download for free on Android, iOS, PC and Mac.
