No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. Titanfall 2 is having a free week, allowing everyone to take part in the multiplayer, whether they own the game or not.

Starting on Wednesday, November 30th, everyone who is subscribed to Origin Access and/or EA Access on the PC and Xbox One respectively will get access to the game’s multiplayer. For those who aren’t subscribed or don’t own the service, mainly those on the PlayStation 4, you’ll be able to get in on Friday, December 2nd. Regardless of what system you own, the trial will be going until Sunday December 4th.

So what do you have access to during this free week? Well, everything actually. All the maps, weapons, and modes from the full game will be included during this free week, so players will be able to get the full mutiplayer experience. Even better, the game’s Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC, a video of which you can check out below, which launches on December 3rd, will also be part of the trial. But it gets even better: if you decide to buy the full game, all the progress that you made in the trial gets transferred over to the final game.

So yeah, all in all, that’s a pretty cool deal. Even if the game doesn’t interest you, this is definitely something that is worth checking out. Titanfall 2 is available now for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
