All That’s Gaming: Your Epic Buyer’s Guide to What’s New This Week!
This week, it’s all about that Steam life! Though nothing may be releasing on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Arcade, Steam has got more than enough to satisfy your gaming needs. First up, comes a fun, yet highly amusing adventure title, Octodad: Dadliest Catch. This isn’t the first we’ve seen of Octodad, though, seeing that Dadliest Catch is a sequel. In this splash hit, we find our favorite cephaloprotagonist in yet another predicament. When you’re stuck between the mistrust of your wife, and a horrendous trip to the aquarium, you’re far beyond a hard place! You, as the father of your family, must hide your nautical secret from them (seeing that they don’t realize you’re an octopus), and continue on with a normal life. But, can you do it is the real question? You’re Octodad, nobody suspects a thing.
Next up on our list is Broken Age. Broken Age is a new point-and-click adventure that tells a rather interesting story of a young boy and girl, living parallel lives. The girl, has been chosen as a sacrifice for this terrible monster, but she has decided to fight back. Then in the parallel universe, a boy is leading on a solitary life on a spaceship. He’s tended to and cared for by a motherly computer, and but all he wishes to do is break free from this life and take on different adventures. Broken Age seems to take on an interesting approach to PC adventures.
