An update was posted on the Kickstarter page for Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians revealing that the character artist will be Square Enix artist – Akihiko Yoshida. In case you don’t know who that is, he was the character artist for multiple Square Enix titles such as Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story, and Bravely Default. He’s worked alongside Yasumi Matsuno in the past, so this could’ve been seen coming.

The game is still being funded on Kickstarter and is trying to reach the goal of $600,000 by February 14. It’s already reached around $439,000 which is a great start considering and it also has stretch goals in the millions which, if reached, will add the game to things like the PlayStation 4, 3DS, and PlayStation Vita. If you haven’t backed the game yet and you’re interested in it, then go back it as soon as you can! Level-5 and Matsuno’s tactical RPG title is looking promising.
