Ms. Splosion Man, from the team of Twisted Pixel Games, is using Valve’s Steamworks instead of Games for Windows live, as per developer announcement today. With Steamworks there is much more freedom for the developers to add features such as match-making, player/user created content, achievements and now with the update also comes cloud saving. Microsoft posted an announcement last year that mean that end of Games for Windows Live, as of July 1st 2014, that being said, this means that might be a bigger amount of games jumping ship to Steam, that haven’t done so already.

The game has been available on Steam since 2013, but its also spread wide via xbox360, iOS, and Windows Phone 7 & 8. The basis of the game is to guide the players through the expansive levels which of course wouldn’t be complete with puzzles, traps, and baddies to make you pull your hair out. Thanks to Steam’s always addicting Summer Sale, the game is now at a low, low price of $2.49, so with the pun intended, get it while it’s hot!
