Like most AAA games these days, it looks like Horizon: Zero Dawn will be getting a day one patch. The good news though is that the patch itself isn’t all that big.
The news comes from developer Guerilla Games, who confirmed on Twitter earlier today that the patch will only be about 250 MB. That’s a lot smaller than most AAA games these days. As for what the patch will add, Guerilla didn’t say, but did promise that we’ll know more about the patch as we get closer to the game’s release. Then again, considering how small the patch is, I doubt it’ll be anything too major.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is set to release on February 28th in North America exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 4 Pro, which promises to run the game at 1080p, while those with 4K televisions will see the game running at 2160 p. The game is also set to launch in the UK and the rest of Europe a few days later on March 1st.
For those interested, #HorizonZeroDawn will receive a day one patch of around 250MB.
