We’ve known for awhile that Telltale is working on a new game based Guardians of the Galaxy, but that was about all we knew. Until now that is, when Telltale revealed some new screenshots and info about the upcoming game, just a day before PAX East.
Granted, these four screenshots, which you can check out below, don’t reveal much, but it’s still something. Certainly better than just a short trailer of a Walkman, like what we got at the Video Game Awards. But that wasn’t the only bit of info that was revealed today, as we know now who will be voicing the lovable band of intergalactic misfits.
The voice cast is as follows: Scott Porter will voice Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien is Gamora, Nolan North will lend his vocals as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells is Drax, and Adam Harrington has the easiest job in the world as he’ll provide the voice of Groot, which based on the screenshots would indicate that this game is separate from the movies, on account of Groot being big and not a baby like he is in the upcoming movie. While we don’t know when episode one will debut, it’s safe to assume that we’ll hear about that soon, possible tomorrow, along with a trailer. We also don’t know what systems Guardians of the Galaxy will be on, but it’s safe to assume that it’ll be coming to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android devices, and possible the Nintendo Switch.
