Four More Characters Headed to Mortal Kombat X

It looks like Mortal Kombat fans are getting even more characters to play with, with Ed Boon teasing the addition of four more yet unannounced silhouettes with the game’s tagline “Who’s Next?” in a tweet released yesterday. Fans will note that one of the characters holds a striking resemblance to series veterans Sub-Zero and Scorpion, which means it can be Smoke, Rain, or any of the other palette swapped ninja, although Rain is the most likely considering he was in Mortal Kombat X’s storyline aside other fan hopeful Baraka, however who the other two characters are is anyone’s guess.

Mortal Kombat X has regularly released fan favorite characters such as Tremor and Tanya, and there exists characters in the game that aren’t on the roster, so there’s plenty to go off, but no details have been given about release date or even when we can expect a reveal. Mortal Kombat X is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
