Fallout 4’s Survival Mode Hits Consoles This Friday

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4’s survival mode will be coming to consoles as apart of the 1.5 update this Friday, May 6th. The introduction of survival mode will make the Commonwealth that much deadlier of a place. From only being able to save at certain location to making sure your character gets enough to eat, everything is going to be much more interesting.

Survival mode was originally in Fallout New Vegas and many fans were disappointed in the fact that it did not make a return to Fallout 4, but Bethesda has listened to the fans and has brought the mode back and more difficult than ever. Now, not only do you have to worry about hunger, thirst, and getting enough sleep, players will also have to deal with everything being more lethal, disease, and making sure they save at every bed that they encounter as that will be the only chance they have to save. For fans looking for a more realistic approach to surviving in the Commonwealth, then survival mode is for you, just be careful about drinking in those irradiated waters.

Fallout 4 is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with the survival update set to hit consoles on May 6th.
