Epic Rumor: Halo 2 Anniversary Making Its Way to Xbox One
There’s nothing like a juicy rumor to get gamers on the edge of their seats, and in regards to Microsoft the company might have a few that will entice fans. According to the latest bath of rumors that are floating around, Halo 2: Anniversary and a Halo 5 beta will grace players in November. In addition to the Halo related news, it’s also said that Crackdown 3 is also underworks. This information was courtesy of NeoGAF in a post that nicely summed up any details in reference to these rumors.
The leaks state that Halo 2: Anniversary is set for November 11th, and will be released for the Xbox One when it hits shelves. With Halo 2: Anniversary, players will be able to enjoy Halo 5 beta access, as well as a “real time” Halo show similar to Forward Unto Dawn that Steven Spielberg is not associated with. Furthermore, it’s believed that Microsoft has a contract with both Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity – who helped 343 Industries with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Another rumor that’s going around is the title will have an alternate ending as well.
Microsoft has apparently reached out to Cloudgine for the Crackdown 3, giving it the codename Nimbus. An announcement for the title is unlikely to be this year, as the company doesn’t plan to release until 2016.
