Don’t lose hope: Xbox One Family Sharing Still a Possibility
You all remember when Xbox reversed their stance on on internet requirements and the restriction of games? Yeah I know I do, but enough of that “past” talk. Once that fire was quickly extinguished, the idea of having family members sharing games also when into the trash but not all hope is lost. The family plan is still on the desk of ideas according to Xbox CEO Phil Spencer.
The problem as always been DRM (Digital Rights Management) and how to overcome such problems in this digital age. The option of pre-ordering as well as pre-loading copies of games can become more complex with DRM, as well as sharing. Those two things “pre-ordering, and pre-loading” are looking more and more like important keys to Xbox’s success as time passes only if the problems can be solved in the near future. The feedback tool also plays an extremely important part of Xbox’s development, because nothing speaks louder in a console maker than the gamers’ console. While the console numbers are one thing Xbox looks like its planning for the “end game” and not just the present day sales. It looks to develop itself further, and isn’t afraid to take its time and get things right.
