Bungie said on Tuesday that they would reveal more of Destiny 2, and they delivered. The game’s worldwide reveal trailer is now live.
Called “Rally the Troops”, the trailer focuses on the Guardians trying to take back the last safe city on Earth, which has been taken over by the Red Legion. Cayde-6 (voiced once again by Nathan Fillion) is also shown rallying these Guardians into what looks to be a tough battle. We’ll see some actual gameplay on May 18th, but that wasn’t the only big piece of info we got today concerning the game.
For starters, we now have a release date for Destiny 2. Expect to play it on September 8th of this year, for the PlayStation 4 (which get exclusive timed content), Xbox One, and PC. Yes, it was officially confirmed by Activision today that the game would finally be making it to PC, which I’m sure will make a lot of you happy. Finally, the game will be getting three editions: standard ($59.99), a limited edition ($99.99), and finally a collector’s edition for all you big spenders ($249.99), as well as an expansion pass ($30).
