Destiny 2’s Release Date May Have Been Revealed

During a shareholder’s meeting earlier this year, Activision announced that Destiny 2 would be coming this fall. We didn’t know when in the fall it would be happening, but if a recently leaked poster is to be believed, we may finally have a release date.

According to a recently leaked poster from an Italian GameStop, Destiny 2 is set to release on September 8th of this year. Eurogamer also reports that the game will be getting a beta in June, with the PS4 getting it first. As it sits right now, Activision hasn’t denied or confirmed  this rumor yet, though the poster in question certainly looks authentic enough.

Another thing that adds credibility to this rumor is that September was also the same time that the original Destiny was released worldwide in 2014, though it was on September 2nd and not the 8th. Until Acitivision says something themselves, we won’t know for sure whether this rumor is true or not, but in the meantime, you can check out the first game, Destiny, which is out now for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
